Lloyds Metals currently operates the single largest iron ore mine in India, which is in the process of ramping up dispatchable iron ore capacity to 26 MTPA. DRI production is being scaled up to 0.7 MTPA. The company has also recently commissioned a 4 MTPA pellet plant and is in the process of increasing pellet production capacity to a total of 12 MTPA in a staggered manner to meet future demand. Further strengthening its portfolio, Lloyds Metals is establishing its first integrated steel plant with a wire-rod capacity of 1.2 MTPA, followed by a 3 MTPA HRC plant in the future.
